P1 / P2 Making CEM Changes

Whilst there are some other programs available for making P1 and P2 Cem config changes (Smok, DHA ), in reality Vdash is the only sensible way forward.

Vdash

Vdash is a really amazing program with breadth and scope unlike anything else, it can clone modules, and allow you to use donor modules from Ebay and stuff you wouldn’t believe. But for this, I am going to keep to the very specific topic of P1/P2 configuration changes. Vdash has checks and balances to help ensure that nothing goes wrong and recovery procedures in case it does as well as technical support.

Vdash is strongly recommended for the home enthusiast. Its also fully automated. In as much as you can create an account in minutes, add credit to your account to pay for CEM changes and be done all without any human interaction in a very swift manner.

OK, So, you have your CEM pin code and you have submitted to Vdash or decoded it directly with Vdash. What next ? And what’s the Cost?

Every configuration change in Vdash has a price, and there is a price list HERE

Typical costs for say, enabling the trip compuityer on a P1 C30 is 71Euros .

More Advanced jobs might be 120Euros .

“Out of the box” the free account with Vdash has a limited range of CEM changes available to you. Very specific things might require q request to Vdash to open the menus for you. For instance if you are retrofitting a higher performance audio system and amplifier, you will need to ask Vdash to open those menus for you.

Vdash makes P1 AWD conversions or P2 Manual swaps a breeze (Of course you have to make the wiring changes). As well as 4C delete.

Some companies in America Charge over $600 dollars to make the CEM config changes, where as with Vdash requires 2 small cem changes totaling about $90
